Type of Event: An elegant semi-formal (Black-Tie preferred) evening that will take place in 2 ballrooms located inside the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) building sharing its foyer with the beautifully renovated Holiday Inn Capitol, located downtown Southwest Washington, D.C. The evening will feature multiple interactive rooms of entertainment, including a live jazz band, celebrity D.J, and plenty of dancing, Tickets will include food, and guests will enjoy a savory reception style buffet and a full hosted bar of spirits, domestic and imported beers, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. Multiple bar and carving stations will be set up throughout the event site all evening.

Goal of Event: A "Party with a Purpose" that will celebrate the re-election of the 44th President, Barack Obama, while also raising much needed funds and awareness to support The Lifting As We Climb Foundation's "Sound Mind, Sound Body(TM)" After-School Mentoring/Tutoring Program.
