The National Civil War Naval Museums celebrates Black History Month with an immersive tour featuring a variety of stories, as told by African American nurses, pilots, sailors and engineers. The goal is to boost these powerful narratives through museum theater. Patrons will experience firsthand the power of living history as they are actively engaged in the remarkable accounts of Horace King, John Lawson, Harriet Dallas, Robert Smalls, and Mary Louvestre as told through performances by professional actors.

Immersive Tour Experience- Patrons will experience firsthand the stories of unsung African-American heroes of the Civil War era as told through performances by professional actors.
When: 11:00 am & 1:00 pm on Saturday, Feb. 11; 1:00 pm on Sunday Feb12
Where: National Civil War Naval Museum, 1002 Victory Drive in Columbus, Georgia.
Cost: $7 online, general admission prices at the door, free admission for children 6 and under
