You are invited to meet investors and pitch at our Lifograph SF Pitch Night in front of a panel of investors representing SOSV Ventures ($250M fund), Benhamou Ventures ($80M fund) and Gelt Venture Capital (early stage VC fund).

The pitch winner will get an automatic referral to the startup screening committees of Wharton Angels and Harvard Angels.

90-second verbal elevator pitch (no deck) followed by non-rebuttal feedback from the investor panel.

At the end of the event, the investor panel will choose three pitch winners who will be able to choose one of the free prizes.

Cyril is a General Partner at SOSV Ventures - a $250M venture capital and investment management firm that provides seed, venture and growth funding to tech startups.

He is also the Founder of HAX, the first full-stack startup accelerator for hardware ventures.

Cyril has over a decade experience in Asian markets, and invested in hundreds of companies worldwide.

A guest writer on Techcrunch, Cyril is a popular speaker in numerous conferences and featured in media such as The New York Times, The Economist, WIRED and more.

JAKE CHAPMAN

Jake Chapman is a VC and Partner at Gelt Venture Capital, a venture capital firm focused on seed stage startups who are solving hard problems with innovative and scalable solutions.


Before Gelt Ventures, Jake was a VC and Partner at Sazze Partners, also an early stage VC fund.


He was also a Founding Investor and Advisor at The Batchery, a startup incubator based in Berkeley.


Jake invests in startups of all industries, especially in those where his operational expertise, business development, customer acquisition and related skills can be a difference maker.


Jake is a published writer with articles appearing in peer reviewed journals as well as in TechCrunch, VentureBeat, Pando and WIRED Magazine.


He was also guest judge for the TechCrunch pitch off competition.


Jake has a BA in Political Science from UC Berkeley and as well as a JD from Berkeley School of Law, where he was Research Assistant and Managing Editor of the Berkeley Business Law Journal.

YASHWANTH HEMARAJ

Yash Hemaraj is an Investor at Benhamou Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm which only few months ago raised $80M for its third fund focused on investing in cloud technologies, networking, SaaS applications, cyber security, mobility and IoT.

Yash previously worked at SpiderCloud, a startup that raised more than $100M and was ranked #5 in the “top venture backed companies” by Wall Street Journal. He also held various positions at tech companies and venture capital firms including Qualcomm, Texas Instruments and Shasta Ventures.

Yashwanth is a former Board Member at United Way of Silicon Valley where he also co-founded an Innovation Fund to fund social entrepreneurs who create local impact. He is also a Fellow of the Startup Leadership Program in Silicon Valley.



He earned his MBA at the Kellogg School of Management with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Business Strategy, an MS at the University of Maryland in Electrical Engineering, and a BE at National Institute of Technology in Electronics and Communication.

She is a big car racing fan and is currently serving as a Director in the Board of Directors of the Ferrari Club of America, Pacific Region.
