You are invited to meet investors and pitch at our Lifograph SF Pitch Night in front of a panel of investors representing Golden Seeds ($100M invested), GWC Innovator Fund ($30M fund), Berkeley Angel Network and the Batchery Accelerator.

NANCY HAYES - Angel investor at Golden Seeds, investing in companies with women in their leadership teams. Golden Seeds is an early stage angel group with more than 275 members, that invested over $100M in over 145 companies.


RYAN BAIRD - Investor at the GWC Innovator Fund, an early stage fund with $30M under management investing in 30-40 startups a year. GWC's Limited Partners include Sequoia Capital and Cheetah Mobile. 90-second verbal elevator pitch (no deck) followed by non-rebuttal feedback from the investor panel.

At the end of the event, the investor panel will choose three pitch winners who will be able to choose one of the free prizes.

NANCY HAYES

Nancy Hayes is an active angel investor and a member of Golden Seeds, which focuses on investing in women-led, high growth companies. She also serves as advisor to entrepreneurs.


Nancy left the IBM Corporation, where she was a senior executive, to become CEO of two innovative nonprofit organizations.


Subsequently, Nancy was named Dean of the College of Business at San Francisco State University and after six years she became CFO and Chief Administrative Officer of the university.


Nancy also cofounded MoolaHoop, a rewards-based crowdfunding site for women with small businesses.


She has an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.

RYAN BAIRD

Ryan Baird is a serial entrepreneur, advisor, investor, speaker and connector.


Ryan is currently a venture capitalist at the GWC Innovator Fund ($30M fund) and Startup Manager for the G-Startup Worldwide.

GWC Innovator Fund makes 30-40 investments a year, while Ryan makes 2-6 personal investments per year.

GWC's Limited Partners include Sequoia Capital and Cheetah Mobile.

Ryan is investor in Lyft, Palintair, Publish Brand, SPARE, among others.

He is also the cofounder of StartUpRising, an invitation-only community of influencers, thought leaders, innovators, changemakers, investors, and entrepreneurs who are challenging the status quo in the tech ecosystem.

Ryan’s past professional experience includes finance, hedge fund management, proprietary trading, arbitraging volatility, corporate and business development, and e-sports/mobile gaming.

JEFF WALLACE


Jeff Wallace is an Angel Investor at the Berkeley Angel Network and Founding Investor, President and Managing Partner at the Batchery Accelerator a global incubator for tech startups.


He is the Founder of Global Kinetics, a market development accelerator to early-to-mid stage companies and Cofounder of Silicon Valley in Your Pocket and HubSV. Jeff is an EIR for SKTA Innopartners and Advisor at Matter.VC and UC Berkeley's incubator, SkyDeck.


Jeff was previously with Cognizant and Brillio where he was Founder & Global Practice Head for the Mobility practice. Prior to this, he was a serial entrepreneur founding several businesses. He was awarded the prestigious BridgeGate 20 Award, recognizing him as one of the top 20 business leaders and “difference makers” in California’s IT & new media community.


He frequently speaks at international conferences and corporate events and has published extensively about enterprise mobility, UX, IoT and startups.


Jeff holds a BA degree in Economics/Finance from Rutgers College & an MBA in Strategy, Entrepreneurship & Technology from UC Berkeley. He is based in San Francisco with his wife & enjoys the Silicon Valley lifestyle.

DEA WILSON

Dea is a serial entrepreneur and Managing Director of Silicon Valley Incubator. She is also an angel investor at the Wharton Angels and Tech Angels, her investment interest being in consumer, mobile and SaaS startups. Dea is a big supporter of female founders and currently leads a community of over 1,000+ women leaders and entrepreneurs.


Dubbed "Ms. Silicon Valley", Dea is what people call a "super-connector", her expansive network including the "Who's Who" in startups, venture capital, technology, entertainment, etc.


She is a big car racing fan and is currently serving as a Director in the Board of Directors of the Ferrari Club of America, Pacific Region.


Dea has been a guest speaker at numerous events and conferences and she has also been featured and interviewed in many media publications, including Entrepreneur Media, Silicon Valley Business Journal, Yahoo Finance, Investor Business Daily, Startups.co, Sociable, 150sec, Repatriot, Startup Grind, TheNextWeb, ProTV, NationalTV, etc.
