Lifesharing & Options for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism
Thu, April 27, 2017, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM EDT
Parents, come and join us in The Woodlands Dining Hall for refreshments and an informational session to learn more about the C.A.R.E.S. LifeSharing Program while your son or daughter enjoys a dance and refreshments with The Woodlands Fun and Friends Program!
Lifesharing enables individuals with developmental disabilities or autism to live in a family home environment and share life experiences with a family, to whom they are not related. The individual’s own family continues supporting the individual with as much involvement as they would like. Whether you know nothing about lifesharing or are ready to start looking for a great match for your son or daughter, you are welcome to come, learn more, and get your questions answered!
Where: The Woodlands Recreational Center
When: April 27, 2017 from 6-8:00pm
Who: Anyone who wants to learn more about Lifesharing!
