This class teaches you the skills needed to save a life. You need to be able to swim 300 yards and pick up a brick from the bottom of the pool in order to participate in the class. Throughout this class you will learn water safety, CPR/AED, and first aid skills. Certification is through the American Red Cross.
This class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-9:00 pm from March 6 - April 17, 2017. You will meet from 6:00-7:00 pm in Rm 3040 CCRB; and in Bell Pool from 7:00-9:00 pm.
Available for University of Michigan academic credit. See your academic advisor before registering. Then contact our office for an override.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
You may cancel from class without a penalty up until it meets for the first time. Cancellations and refunds are allowed only through the University of Michigan academic class calendar drop/add deadline: March 20, 2017. A $20 cancellation fee will apply. In order to obtain a refund, log on to EventBrite and request your refund.
