Description

Please join a public screening and Q&A of the documentary film LIFE WITH LAYLA. Winner of the 2019 Montclair Film Festival for Best New Jersey Film, this documentary chronicles seven-year old Layla in the wake of her Aunt Melissa's fatal heroin overdose. With her Uncle Greg's addiction spiraling toward the same fate as her Aunt Melissa, Layla and her mom try to save their family from losing another loved one to drugs. You may have seen educational films about drugs but you've yet to see it through the eyes of a child.
