Life Stress Reduction & Case Planning Workshop
4-day workshop with Michelle Booth, LCSW
Prerequisite: the Traumatic Incident Reduction Workshop
The Life Stress Reduction (LSR) workshop will equip the therapist or facilitator with a new paradigm of structured and simple techniques to create a safe working environment for the client or person who is seeking to address unproductive life issues. The structured techniques taught in this workshop are easy to learn and to apply. They are very efficient and powerful in helping clients to release emotional charge and resolve issues that may have challenged them for years.
Upon completing the Life Stress Reduction Workshop you can expect to get good results applying the techniques you have learned. This workshop includes skill-building exercises and the opportunity to give and receive supervised Life Stress Reduction sessions, and practice in developing customized case plans using the wide variety of techniques taught.
Life Stress Reduction (LSR), is part of the larger subject of Applied Metapsychology, and can be used to assist an individual in taking a comprehensive inventory of life areas that are needing to be addressed and systematically tackling them through the LSR techniques. Each LSR technique is designed to approach an issue, remove emotional pain, resistance and confusion from that issue, and result in greater clarity and awareness in relation to the issue. Upon completion of their Life Stress Reduction work a viewer sustains a higher baseline of functioning and concurrently experiences diminished concern about past events and current life situations.
This workshop includes techniques introduced in TIR and dozens of additional techniques:
expanded disturbance handling
expanded exploration
an extensive program for handling an Emotionally Charged Relatioship
an extensive program related to Body Image Issues
Recall Lists for improving general recall abilities
Expanded Unblocking and Life Stress Lists
25 additional techniques not covered in other workshops
This workshop also includes skill-building exercises, an opportunity to give and receive supervised LSR sessions (co-facilitation), and practice in developing customized case plans using the wide variety of techniques taught. This workshop also provides an opportunity to network with other TIR facilitators.
Prerequisite: Introduction to TIR Workshop. The Life Stress Reduction & Case Planning Workshop is designed for individuals who have already taken the Introduction to Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) Workshop and so are familiar with the background and protocol of the subject, and wish to further their abilities by incorporating more techniques into their repertoire.
Price includes: workshop instruction and manuals, beverages and light snacks.
Visit Applied Metapsychology webpage for additional workshop description.
