Come learn about how the City can help you can save money on your flood insurance!

The City of Portland is launching a pilot program to help qualifying Lents and Powellhurst-Gilbert area homeowners lower their flood insurance costs. You are invited to come learn about this new program at Life in the Floodplain, a community meeting where you can share your concerns about flooding and flood insurance with City staff and elected officials, hear how your neighbors are being impacted, and learn about opportunities to protect your private property from hazard and save money on your flood insurance.

This meeting is being hosted as part of the outreach process for the Lents Stabilization and Job Creation Collaborative.

There will also be free food and a raffle! RSVP below!

  • Remarks from elected officials representing the Lents Collaborative,

  • Presentation from PSU and community group, Green Lents, on findings from community survey, and

  • Information about the City's new pilot program to help homeowners save money on flood insurance costs.

1:30 - 2:00 PM: Tabling and informal question and answer
