Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

A discussion of The Innocence Project and Life After Innocence, which help the wrongly convicted from new trials and DNA evidence to building a life after exoneration. Panel will include lawyer/writers Laura Caldwell and Leslie S. Klinger, editors of Anatomy of Innocence, contributor and bestselling crime writer Laurie R. King, and Linda Starr, co-founder and legal director of the Northern California Innocence Project.

And now, we’ve added a panelist: exonoree Maurice Caldwell (no relation to Laura) will talk about his experiences—arrest, conviction, and 20 years in prison for a murder he had nothing to do with. (See his story here: http://law.scu.edu/ncip/exonerations/maurice-caldwell/ )

No charge. Refreshments afterward.

You can order a copy of Anatomy of Innocence from Book Passage, here
