Description

Teens at the age of 16 years to 20 years are better able to solve problems, think about their future, appreciate opinions of others, and understand the long-term effects of their decisions.

This program shall be designed to help this age group to prepare for life in college, primarily life outside the home setting as an adult. Life skills such as project management, decision analysis skills and conflict resolution shall be relevant at this stage.

They shall also learn second level entrepreneurship skill and employment skills such as identifying a life passion, designing a life vision, innovating and implementing ideas into thriving ventures.

This course will take place on all Saturdays in November 2017. Attendees are strongly recommended to come for all 4 sessions so as to complete the training. The time of the training is 9am and ends at 1pm. The cost of this event is Kes 8,000 for the full course and will include lunch.

Some of the topics to be covered are:

  1. Introduction to entreprenuership and employability
  2. Personal Awareness
  3. Goal Setting
  4. Matching the you to the right opportunity
