Description

LIEDER ALIVE! is happy to present a two concert mini-subscription that will run for the 2018 portion of the 2017-18 season.

Still basking in the glow of the 2017/18 Liederabend Series' Mahlerfest Grand Opening, the Hugo Wolf and Gustav Mahler Liederabend performed by bass Kirk Eichelberger and pianist Marek Ruszczynsk and the "Neue und Alte Lieder" featuring commissioned works by Mark Carlson, Kurt Erickson, LIEDER ALIVE! Composer-in-Residence, and Luna Pearl Woolf and performed by soprano Heidi Moss Erickson, mezzo-soprano Kindra Scharich, LIEDER ALIVE! Artist-in-Residence, and pianist Ronny Michael Greenberg;

LIEDER ALIVE! is now offering a mini-subscription options which will include the last two concerts in the Liederabend Series, March 25, 2018 and July 1, 2018.

Firstly, baritone Eugene Villanueva performing Brahms, Wolf, and Tosti with pianist Peter Grünberg; and then the U.S. Premiere of Neue Lieder by German composer Anno Schreier, co-commissioned by LIEDER ALIVE! with the Deutsche Oper Berlin, performed by Ms. Scharich, and pianist John Parr.

All recitals take place in the concert hall at the Noe Valley Ministry—an intimate and convivial performance space perfectly suited to the tradition of Liederabend—and will be followed by a reception with the artists.

Our subscribers receive a special price over the collective individual ticket price for the last two concerts this season. In addition, subscribers are our very much appreciated collaborators in keeping Lieder where it belongs—ALIVE!
