This is a 2 session INTERMEDIATE LEARNING LEVEL "Hands-On" class.
LibreOffice is a free open source software package that includes the common office suite functions. For the most part the files are interchangeable with Microsoft Office.
The course will begin with an introduction and review the setting of the default options of LibreOffice followed by the basics of Writer, the word processing module.
1. Fundamental keyboard and mouse skills
2. Basic computer functions such as COPY & PASTE
3. Able to save files in a desired location, find and retrieve saved files.
You are encouraged to bring you laptop. Remember the power cord.
BRING A USB THUMB DRIVE TO SAVE CLASS EXERCISES.
