Join us to parade through historic downtown Liberty Hill, TX as we welcome Christmas to 2016! All are welcomed by our tailgating route of fans who turn out to support and enjoy this spectacle on wheels, our mile-wide, hour-long party!
Anyone who prefers to sponsor a performing group or costumed character will have their org or business name carried alongside. You may provide a banner and a handler, or request a 12 x 24 sign be carried by one of our volunteers.
Entries will be judged in 5 categories:
- Best Use of Theme (Love and Harmony),
- Panther Pride,
- Best Car/Motorcycle/Vehicle,
- Spirit of Christmas,
- Texas Roots
- Best Performing Group
All visible sides of all floats must be covered and decorated, and entries are encouraged to utilize sight, sound, and motion to engage attention. Impact!
The staging grounds will open at 12:00 and the roads will close by 1:30.
Judging will be completed before 1:30 and announced as you pass the Grandstand
There will be a MANDATORY SAFETY Meeting at 1:30 at the front registration table, requiring at least one driver/rep from each entry.

Do I sign up for one or each?
ONE registration per group, not one per horse/person!,
but register each float if your group is bringing more than one vehicle.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking at the stadium grounds will be in the grassy field west of the school, and is "in" until the event finishes. Drop-offs should use the front circular driveway.
Leaving a second car at the finish line (Foundation Park or LH Intermediate School parking lot) will be your best ride back to your vehicle if needed. We are attempting to arrange a shuttle ride for drivers.
Please direct all parents/carpools to pick-ups at the Parade Finish Line at the Festival. NO PASSENGERS will be allowed to remain on open floats leaving the LHIS finish grounds! LHPD Officers will not allow you to leave the lot with unsecured passengers. We suggest pre-arranging a pick-up spot at the Fest to avoid congestion and youngsters walking through the busy parking lot. Floats will be directed into the LHIS drop-off driveway, and passengers will be safest exiting to the sidewalk on your right. Note: Santa will be at the end of the parade and ride into the Fest grounds for his visitors. No need to rush!
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Tossing candy or goodies to your fans is a time-honored tradition. Please 'help' younger kids to get these far away from the wheels and walkers. Remember to pace yourself, as there will be spectators for a mile!
No alcohol, tobacco, or visible firearms on any entry.
All animals must be under control and have kennel, cargo, or cage space available if needed during the gathering time.
Can I update my registration information?
You may re-enter your registration until Thursday Dec 1st to change the wording of the LENGTHY description that will be read as you approach the two announcing stations.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
How can I contact the coordinator?
