Western Welcome Parade: LHS 40th Reunion Float 8:30AM-12:00PM, Saturday, August 18th Parade participants must be dropped off on Datura Street at Shepperd Avenue, Library Lane, or Park Hill Avenue. Map: Intersection of Datura St & Shepperd Ave Price: Free No pre-registration needed. For further Western Welcome Parade Details Click Here. Come participate with our LHS 40th reunion float. Parade starts at 10AM and finishes around noon. Wear purple and gold! Staging area to be around intersection of Datura St and Shepperd Ave, will update event details and via email with our exact planned starting location and further instructions. We will have signs as well as a decorated truck. The truck will be available to ride in, and other classmates will walk alongside the truck with the parade. Parade route will be around 1.2 miles long.
Catered Picnic at Sterne Park - South Shelter Noon-3:00PM, Saturday, August 18th Google Map: Stern Park - South Shelter Price: $25.00/Person (17 and over), $18.00/Person (ages 9-16), 8 and under free Pre-registration required/Purchase Tickets on this site (see link above--NOTE: select the date under Available Dates drop down to register). Please email Stacy Riely Pardue--stacypardue@gmail.com--if you want a vegetarian meal. Come for a Three Tomatoes Catered lunch.
