About this event

Business • Career

As we approach the submission deadline for our Local Government Reorganisation proposal on 28th November, we're inviting all employees to take part in a collaborative LGR Workshop designed to shape the future of local goverment in Nottinghamshire.

This is a unique opportunity to explore and co-design the operating model for our new Councils. Together, we'll look at:

  • Workforce - What skills, structures and support will be needed?
  • Digital technologies - How can we embrace innovation to improve services?
  • Democratic Structures and Governance - What should representation and decision-making look like?
  • What works well now - And how we can build on it.
  • What should be different - To create new model 'principal' authorities that are fit for the future.

Your insights and experiences are vital. This workshop is a chance to contribute meaningfully to the design of our future Councils, ensuring they reflect the needs of our communities and the strengths of our workforce.

Let's build something better - together.
