Description

New material! Join us for this FREE 2-hour community event at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Community Center in Greenwich Village NYC. Presented by Shaan Saar, featuring out lead instructor certified Krav Maga Street Defence teacher, Gabriel Mora, 3rd degree Israeli Black Belt.

This class curriculum addresses not only Krav Maga training for self-defense but violence prevention, neurobiology of an attack, how to observe situational awareness and body language as the first and best line of defense.

Catering specifically to issues surrounding our LGBT community today, each class is geared for adults age 18+ and will cover verbal exercises, surviving knife attacks, how to escape abduction and abduction attempts, escaping from individual restraint, escaping choke holds, personal attack from strangers, acquaintances and intimates, multiple attackers, sexual assault and gun threats.

Gabriel is a lifelong internationally trained martial artist with over 15 years of experience in Krav Maga, national speaker / self-defense educator, teaching award nominee and hosts monthly self-defense events in NY every third Sunday until 2019.
