LGBTQ+ Student Mental Health Discussion
Event Information
About this Event
Mental health issues among LGBTQ+ students were already a worsening crisis before the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the form of a fundraiser, GLSEN LHV and QC will be hosting a virtual safe space as a multi-day event with the LGBTQ+ youth mental & emotional wellbeing focus. This event will feature a discussion between LGBTQ+ students, GLSEN and QC representatives who will share personal stories about mental health/coming out, and two LGBTQ+ mental health professionals who will oversee and provide guidance.
General admission to each event is a suggested donation $15, or any other donation amount is also accepted. Free admission for all 9-12 students, high school teachers, and high school psychologists/social workers upon request. Email max@lowerhudsonvalley.glsen.org for more information.
