Event description
A Death Café evening specifically for those who identify as LGBTQ. Ashland OR. *($10 suggested donation, no one turned away for lack of $).

About this Event

The intention of this specific Death Café gathering is to talk about the often taboo topics of death and dying as they relate to our lives and experiences as LGBTQ people. Let’s come together in a safe space to share our love, fears, inspiration, heartache, questions, concerns, and whatever else arises about death and dying.

PLEASE NOTE: We love our allies, but this event is for those who identify themselves as LGBTQ. Thank you for being a supportive ally by respecting this request!

This LGBTQ Death Café is hosted by Jen Mathews, out lesbian and one of the founding members and organizers of Ashland Death Cafe. For more info, please email Jen at

You will be given the Ashland location in a confirmation email after you register!

*(Donations cover expenses associated with this event. Venue, publicity, etc. Any additional funds will go toward future events. Facilitators are all volunteers).
