Event description

Description

Writer and filmmaker Helen Wright takes you through developing a short film, from inception to read-to-shoot. Develop your own ideas for queer short films in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.

An LGBT Cultural Commissions Awardee, Helen Wright’s award-winning short films use sci-fi and surrealism to explore romantic relationships between queer women. Helen co-founded Lock Up Your Daughters, a filmmaking group for LGBTIQ people, and the Scottish Queer International Film Festival (SQIFF).

Join us for a free screening of Helen's new short film Joey after the workshop (click here to book your ticket).

This is a free event.

ACCESS: Level access at entrance with lift up to 3rd floor cinema space (GMAC). Accessible toilets on first floor. Film clips screening with subtitles for D/deaf and hard of hearing access.
