LFMP June 27 Event
Date and time
Location
Dechert LLP
1095 Avenue of the Americas New York, NY 10036Description
We will conclude the LFMP “School Year” with our traditional visit from ALM’s smartest and finest. Brian Baxter, Julie Triedman and Nell Gluckman of American Lawyer, Katelyn Polantz of the National Law Journal, and Gina Passarella of the Philadelphia Legal Intelligencer—who is newly assigned to oversee business-of-law-firm coverage nationwide—will join us for an exciting discussion. We will hear about the new AmLaw beats, their coverage, and the latest from the storied halls of ALM offices up and down the Amtrak rails.
They will also supply us with a handy iteration of “how not to pitch me” tips that we all relish.
There is a year-end cocktail event in the mixin’ for after this event, so please plan to stay late and go home on the subway. Those details forthcoming, too, and thanks to Infinite Spada, Alan Ripp, and Gorkana for supplying the funds.

Dear LFMP members,
Thank you to everyone who attended the informative panel last month on cyber breaches, hosted by McDermott Will & Emery and run by Infinite Spada. It was a successful event and quite well-attended, but 26 people who RSVP’d in the affirmative failed to attend. In consideration of the fact that our hosts spend time and money on our space and sustenance, we are asking those who cannot attend after RSVP’ing to let us know via the organizer, Infinite Spada, who kindly maintains all our lists and attendance.
Our new policy, starting with next week’s event, will be that two no-shows in a year (cancellations are expected 24 hours in advance) will result in a three-month ban on attending LFMP events.
We are a volunteer-only organization, and we rely on each other to make every event a success. We understand that there can be unavoidable extenuating circumstances, and we ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you can’t make it to an event for which you RSVP’d. Special circumstances will be considered, and possibly forgiven.
Thanks very much.
