About this Event

Start your afternoon at the Quality Inn & Suites in Clarkston with an educational grape-growing seminar and luncheon where you will learn about the history of the Lewis-Clark Valley AVA and our featured grape, Cabernet Sauvignon. A panel of vineyard owners will be there to discuss the unique characteristics of the grape. Listen as Steven Branting, local historian, gives a presentation on the history of our area and Dr. Keegan Schmidt from Lewis-Clark State College provides a unique geology perspective.

_____

All event participants must be 21 years of age. All event attendees must purchase a passport to participate in festival events.

_____

The premier Lewis-Clark Valley Wine Festival toasts Cabernet Sauvignon, our featured grape varietal. The 3-day celebration features winery events, Riedel glassware presentation, wine and history seminar, and the winemaker’s signature dinner event. All weekend long participating Lewis-Clark Valley Wine Alliance wineries will open their doors and welcome fellow patrons to taste their wine, listen to live music, dine on local food, and discover the flavor of our region.
