A Dance Performance to better understand empathy and mudita (compassionate joy) by living vicariously through others' self-health practices, emotional states of being, daily life tasks, sensory, spatial and personal awareness.
Stick around on Saturday for a post-show Q&A and dance party!
On Sunday, Laura will lead the audience in a brief wellness session following the performance.
“Witnessing the experience of another human has an effect on our neurological system—in regards to how we react emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. Simply by living through others—even just small space-time continuum moments—helps us to feel more deeply, process more fully and to experience catharsis, fulfillment or even bliss, an ecstatic heightened state of homeostasis.
“In these troubled times, I know for myself I need the power and empowerment of others who are willing to express and feel all the emotions of the spectrum! A healthful way to process, recharge and surge ahead on this precious Earth!”
—Laura Rae Bernasconi
