Please join us for LCI’s 9th Annual Nurse Navigator Academy on Friday, October 4th! Registration is FREE.

Attendees will hear from keynote speaker, Dr. Donald Warne. Dr. Warne is the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Director of the Indians into Medicine (INMED) program at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences (SMHS) and an Oglala Lakota tribesman. Dr. Warne, who grew up in on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, speaks about inter-generational trauma and the Third World health conditions he sees in Indian Country.

Agenda will also include:

  • Talks by Levine Caner Institute physcicians with expertise in areas of Neuro-Oncology and Integrative Therapies

  • A hot topic panel to include: genetics, fertility and financial toxicity.

  • Navigator best practice panel discussing the following: regional/rural naviation, GI Updates & Screening and Mulitple Myeloma

  • And a special caregiver story

Registration and a full breakfast will begin at 7:30am. The conference will begin promptly at 8:30am. Attendees will have the opportunity to network and collaborate on best practices with fellow Navigators from across the region.
