Leverging Environmental Monitoring - Key Steps in Producing Credible Data

One of the biggest issues Citizen Scientists face is getting their data taken seriously by regulators and industry. As follow-on to our successful 2012 Citizen Science Workshops, EPA Region 2 is please to present a day of training and discussions with federal and state regulators.
The morning session will include presentations on our EPA Region 2 Citizen Science Program, How to Design a Study, Streamlined Quality Assurance Project Plans, Measurement Uncertainty, and Using Senesor Technologies for Air Monitoring. The afternoon session will include a Roundtable Discussion with federal/state regulators as well as an oppurtunity for one-on-one discussions with the regulators.

- When driving into campus, guaranteed parking is in the Center for Tomorrow Lot (first left after entering campus from Maple Road onto Flint).
- Take the Green Line Shuttle bus to the Flint Loop, a short drive of 5 minutes. The driver will indicate O’Brian Hall to your left. Shuttle bus departures are every 10 minutes
