Description

Almost 20 years ago, Expedia changed the entire travel industry with a technology platform that empowered consumers to manage their travel interests. Today, it is the largest travel solution in the world; over 5 times larger than what used to be the industry standard, American Express.

iConnect was launched 2 years ago and is becoming the “Expedia” of the patient recruitment industry - connecting patients to appropriate clinical trials. By leveraging the largest online destination for patients to find clinical trials while tracking performance, ROI and patient follow up for every patient recruitment tactic and every vendor and site budget, iConnect brings transparency and visibility to patient identification.

This Executive Roundtable will share the progress to date of the iConnect platform, as well as share the promising results for Sponsors, Institutional Sites and Patient Volunteers. The workshop will also: review the growth of the CenterWatch/iConnect online communities (Inspire, Support Groups, etc.) to help inform and educate those consumers on clinical trials they might qualify for, review the positive impact on trial recruitment and execution, as well as discuss the challenges associated with current models of tracking recruitment ROI.

Join our speakers as they lead the discussion on:

  • How sponsors, investigators and institutional research administrators overcome the challenges of knowing whether or not appropriate patients within the sites are being contacted for the study

  • Why a streamlined approach to track patient recruitment performance and ROI in real-time across all vendors/budgets/TAs/departments is essential to optimize results and how can one achieve it

  • What are the trends in patient engagement and the growing role of Advocacy Groups/PENS Collaborations

  • Updates from the Tufts CSDD - Patient Recruitment and Retention Benchmarking Study

  • How can you hold sites accountable for their feasibility expectations

  • What value organizing all patient recruitment deployment tactics within one system brings to the sponsor and site

  • What the results are for matching patients to a different, yet appropriate study, if they do not qualify for the first study they applied for

  • What the benefits are of leveraging the largest patient ecosystem in the industry to screen patients into studies
