Event description

Description

Online courses have the potential to provide quality education to learners who may not be able to attend traditional on-campus courses due to geographical, physical or time constraints, but we know that not all online learners learn in the same ways. Developing quality courses that reach a range of learners and their preferred learning styles means that faculty need to take into account the differences among learners in addition to playing to the strengths offered by an online environment. This hands-on course will provide ideas and best-practice recommendations for creating robust and engaging learning modules that can be incorporated into courses appealing to a wider range of learners than ever before. Attendees will have an opportunity to discuss ideas with their colleagues as well as learn how to build activities into their courses.

Tickets are not required to attend this session but if you sign up it does help our planning, gives you a chance to add the event to your calendar, and lets us communicate with you about any changes or other information regarding the event.
