Event description

Description

This workshop is a sequel to our core program (Write to Change the World) which is a prerequisite. It is based on high-level collaboration and brings previously explored themes together to see how we can connect the dots between disparate ideas, fields, geographies, and time periods. We'll test hunches and play cross-pollination games. We'll explore the source of innovative thinking (where do good ideas come from?), and we'll experiment around timing. This program culminates in a large group experiment in which participants come together to produce a publishable op-ed in 15 minutes. Note that this workshop is restricted to OEP alums who have experienced our core program in the past three years.

***Please complete the registration form on the next page to help us serve you better. The OpEd Project is an "everyone" project. We endeavor to have everyone in our rooms because we believe the world's conversation is smarter when everyone is speaking. We ask all of the questions that we do to hold ourselves accountable - to make sure we're doing our best to reach everyone. If you are purchasing this ticket for someone else, please fill in as much information as you can, and have them login to complete.

We'll be heading to a happy hour immediately following the seminar from approximately 5:30-7:00pm. You're welcome to invite your friends, family, and colleagues. You will receive an e-mail confirming all of the details the week prior to the seminar date.

*Reminder: The "Write to Change the World" seminar is a prerequisite for this seminar.
