Event description
Celebrate the publication of the Letters to the Earth book with the curating team and contributors. With special performances.

About this Event

Representing the largest creative response to the climate and ecological crisis to date, the book born of the Letters to the Earth campaign by Culture Declares Emergency weaves together the voices of children, parents, poets, scientists, playwrights, actors and authors.

Join the editors, contributing authors and audiobook actors for an afternoon of performances, music and speeches to celebrate the release of this historic anthology.

Including letter readings from actor/director Simon McBurney, author Rob Cowen and environmental lawyer Farhana Yamin. With songs from award-winning Sam Lee and the Fire Choir, as led by Blythe Pepino and many more.

Drinks and light refreshments provided as well as the opportunity to purchase copies of the book.

We're excited to be hosting this event at Arboretum; a space designed to connect innovators, change makers and thought leaders committed to finding solutions to environmental challenges

Although we'd love to host this event free of charge, there are some costs for venue and staff hire for the day. However, accessibility is important to us, so if the cost of these tickets is prohibitive from you attending, please email us at letterstotheearth@gmail.com.

All proceeds from book sales are going towards ongoing creative environmental campaigning.
