We are thrilled to invite you to a very special Nuff Sed event!

On Thursday 30th October 2025 we will be celebrating Sedulous CIC’s first anniversary and continuing our popular knowledge exchange series “The Good, The Bad & The Ugly of Participatory Research.”

This anniversary edition is called:

✨ Let’s Talk Methods – Community-Driven Research Unpacked

Together with Dr Brenda Hayanga (City, St George’s University) and some of our incredible co-researchers, the Sedulous team will share initial insights from our ongoing Systematic Review:

A Systematic Review and Narrative Synthesis of Studies using Community-Centred Qualitative Methods, Participatory Action Research and Creative Methods in Research with Marginalised and Underrepresented Communities. (Registered with PROSPERO: CRD420250651475)

We’ll be opening up about:

✨ What we are learning so far from the review
✨ Our collaborative journey with Dr Brenda Hayanga
✨ How our participatory approach, involving co-researchers, is reshaping the process
✨ Reflections on how research methods can better serve marginalised and underrepresented communities
