                                                   5th Annual "Let's Talk, Listen & Bond"

                                  Presented in Partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County

Research reports indicate that parents and peers are most influential in adolescent decision making.  This event and the peer-to-peer engagement model supports positive interaction with both of these important influencers.

What to expect:

 Young Ladies: "YOU-niquely You"  Living Like the Royalty You Are   Makayla Clements, Spelman College & Camilia Bell, Hampton Univerity

 Young Men: "Play Maker"  Ruling Your Game   Brendan Clemenson, Rowan Univ & Pheneus Lightfoot, Paulsboro High School

 Adults:  Communication Part 1 & II: Focus on skills to help parents effectively ask the right questions and formulate appropriate responses that encourage open and honest discourse.  


All Youth Panel Discussion: Real Talk Panel Discussion - For Youth, By Youth.  Panel Moderator: Marianna Gray.  Panelists: Chrissy Morales, Stephon Martin, Camilia Bell

** Please note:  The goal of this panel discussion is to help youth to avoid the lure of risky behavior including activities involving drug use, bullying, copulation, cheating, and other illicit behavior .**

Success 1st (501c3) nonprofit corporation is dedicated to empowering youth to make sound decisions and let nothing interfere with their success. With support, youth can resist pressures to engage in destructive behaviors caused by poor decisions, including violence, physical acts, and drug or alcohol abuse.

Mission Statement: Through the use of a peer-to-peer engagement model, 'Success 1st' will decrease at-risk behaviors in youth that may adversely impact their quality of life.

Vision: Success 1st wants to see a world where all youth will have the tools they need to make strong decisions, thrive in a multigenerational society and be successful, contributing citizens.
