Join us on Friday morning, October 19th and hear from a panel of healthcare professionals representing our largest Tri-City providers. Learn about each organization's current operations and future plans, and hear what they consider their greatest challenges - and opportunities - on the horizon. Q & A time provided for audience.


Panelists include:

Michelle Gaskill-Hames, Sr. VP / AM, Kaiser Greater So. Alameda Area. Leadership & Oversight of Kaiser San Leandro & Kaiser Fremont Medical Centers & four ambulatory centers in Hayward, San Leandro, Union City & Fremont. Responsible for health plan operations of 330,000 covered members.

Edward J. Fayen, Sr. Associate Administrator, Systems Operations & Management Support Services, Washington Hospital. Leadership & Oversight of capital asset budgeting for the Health Care System, I.T. & facility projects; a broad range of services including Cardiovascular, Perioperative, Pharmacy, Food & Nutrition, Security & Environmental (partial listing). He is responsible for reducing operating expenses for the Health Care System. He is also responsible for I.T. projects, facility projects and renovations.

Zettie D. Page, III, M.D., Ph.D., MBA, MSW, MS, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tri-City Health Center. Dr. Page joined Tri-City Health Center January, 2013. He is a former FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) CEO with a career focused on increasing access to care while decreasing disparities in healthcare through stabilizing and transitioning community health centers as primary safety net providers within their service areas.

He has over 20 years of experience working with FQHC’s and recently served as CEO for Salud Para La Gente in Watsonville where he led organizational expansion from 13 to 23 sites, and secured nearly $8 million in grants to improve clinics. Dr. Page speaks fluent Mandarin, holds a doctorate of medicine in general medicine, a doctorate in social work, and three Masters Degrees in Social Work, Health Education and MBA. He has retired from 36 years of military (reserve) service as a Colonel.
