Description

IN AN EFFORT TO CONCENTRATION ON HURRICANE RELIEF EFFORTS THIS QUARTER'S QCS HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL DECEMBER 2017. WE TRULY APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE!

It's that time again! The NAACP Houston Branch's Quarterly Conversational Series (QCS); Q3 is here. Every Quarter the NAACP Houston Branch gathers various community leaders, politicians, activists and/or leaders or expertise in their respective fields to discuss current events and social justice issues.

The Houston Branch Q3 - Dinner and conversation will be "Let’s Talk Criminal Education" - a conversation with Houston's various school board superintendents, including: Richard Carranza with Houston ISD, H.D. Chambers with Alief ISD, Charles Dupre with Fort Bend ISD, and Angi Williams with Galena Park ISD. During this dinner discussion, we will be examining equity, discipline, drop out rates, skilled teachers, CTE, and skilled graduates. We want our community members to leave this event fed, full, and reassured!

If you are interested in getting certain questions answered, please submit them to QCS@naacphouston.org ASAP.
