Let's Talk Death & Grief: Film Screening, Panel Discussion and Death Café

About this Event

Greetings from the Death Positive Saskatoon network! We are pleased to invite you to our “Let's Talk Death and Grief” event happening in conjunction with Community Deathcare Canada's nationwide Swansong Festival.

The Saskatoon event is being hosted by death positive advocates, Karla Combres, Laura McNaughton and Mary-Anne Parker, from 1-5pm on October 19, 2019 and will feature a screening of the documentary film Voices of Grief, a panel discussion and a Death Café.

Come early and experience a soothing song bath from the Saskatoon Threshold Singers between 12:30-1:00pm.

The Saskatoon Unitarians have generously donated the venue for this event, which will be held at 213 2nd Street East in Saskatoon. Note that 2nd Street is closed between Victoria and Lorne Avenues. Parking is available on side streets of MacPherson Ave or Melrose Ave - a skip, hop and jump away!

We would be thrilled to see you and have you participate in our efforts to bring the concept of death into the minds and conversations of everyday life!

Please reserve your free ticket today! We hope to see you in great numbers!

Sincerely,Karla, Laura and Mary-Anne
