Let’s Talk About Mental Health and Wellbeing at Work
Event Information
Description
"Every human being is sitting in the middle of mental health – they just don’t know it." - Sydney Banks
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, we will be hosting a free webinar open to all to uncover the true source of mental health and wellbeing. We will explore a new cutting edge direction in which to look to uncover your natural wellbeing and reap the benefits that effortlessly follow from this.
Why does wellbeing matter?
For individuals: Chronic mental stress damages personal lives. It saps energy, corrodes relationships, creates suffering and causes health problems. And in extreme cases, worse still.
For business: Chronic mental stress is bad for business, depressing performance and productivity with major consequences for the bottom line. Business success depends upon the wellbeing of its people.
For society: Chronic mental stress takes an enormous toll every day on workers worldwide. When we are all able to access our wellbeing, we create a more peaceful society. Wellbeing increases connection, humanity and understanding within groups and communities in society.
The good news
We all have built-in wellbeing. However, it is chronic mental stress that obscures it, like clouds hide the sun. This webinar will look behind the scenes at how this works. Seeing this for yourself is the key to preventing mental ill health.
“But my job is stressful…!”
Of course there are workloads, colleagues and deadlines to navigate in the workplace. We can find ourselves in circumstances that we would never choose. Yet when you catch a glimpse of your natural wellbeing, you will see that it’s possible to feel differently, even in the face of challenges like these.
Separating the myths from the facts on the cause of stress is the secret to prevention and cure. Understanding this, you will see better ways of handling yourself in whatever situations occur. And you will recover from setbacks more quickly as a greater sense of wellbeing boosts resilience.
Nothing extra to do
We are led to believe that stress is inevitable in certain circumstances and that we need to deploy coping strategies in order to experience wellbeing. However, because you already have natural wellbeing, there is nothing you need to do to get it. Simply seeing for yourself how it works is the game-changer. In fact, you are likely to save time and energy as there is no need to take on special practices or master new techniques.
