For Youth with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities ages 14-22.
This is part of a series of sessions designed specifically for Virginia youth with disabilities. These trainings are designed to increase an individual's capacity for self-advocacy and decision-making.
Throughout these 3 sessions, we will cover important topics including body rights and autonomy, leaving unsafe situations and reporting them, as well as building and maintaining romantic relationships.
Session Dates:
- July 11th - My Body Belongs to Me
- July 12th - Get Away and Tell Someone
- July 13th - Romantic Relationships
Time for each Session: 10:30 am - 11:30 am Eastern Standard Time
THESE SESSIONS WILL BE PRESENTED ON ZOOM. THEY WILL NOT BE RECORDED.
Individuals under age 18 or under guardianship must be registered by parent or guardian.
