For those of you interested in learning Haitian Creole, HavServe will offer Group Classes for Beginner Haitian Creole weekly, every Thursday from 6:00 pm 7:30 pm. Group Classes are a great way to learn a language in a small setting with other learners every Thursday afternoon in convenient downtown D.C.

Beginner Haitian Creole classes is for people with little to no prior experience in the language. The goals of this class is to get the basics of the language down, such as:
Greetings and Introductions
Days of the week, months in a year, seasons
Articles, nouns, pronouns, adjectives
Present tense verbs
By the end of the class, participants should be able to use questions and answers for simple topics for travel, work or leisure.
$30 / per person per month. Course materials/books - $20.00

Cost + Donations are used to provide teaching resources and school supplies to 50 teachers and 1000+ students in the small village of Lebrun in Haiti.
