Event description
Let's Paddle the Kaw! (Educational Paddle Trip from Cedar Creek to Edwardsville (10 Miles)

About this event

Join Friends of the Kaw for Let's Paddle the Kaw,. an Educational Paddle Trip!

Education: We will share all about the Kansas River Water Trail and the Kansas River Watershed! An email with all of the details of the day will be sent on the WEDNESDAY before the trip. Go to www.kansasriver.org to see our "Know Before You Go" video for details!

All participants must be able to provide your own transportation for the paddle trip. This means that you can drop off a vehicle at the ending boat ramp with your family and have them drop you off at the put in location. We will not be offering any transportation at this time due to COVID-19.

We have Kaw River Guides that are experienced paddlers and will be with you on the trip to help with anything you may need, including safety instruction. If you have never paddled before, we will give you instruction and be there with you on your first journey on the Kansas River. If you have any questions, please be sure to reach out to us. We are happy to help.
