When & Where
Sampson McCormick (SAMPSON) is an experience, a down to earth comedic force of nature and has been one of the most celebrated black, LGBT entertainers working for well over a decade. In addition to being considered a pioneering act in contemporary LGBT comedy, he's been named "One of the Funniest LGBT Comics" by Huffington Post, BuzzFeed, OUT.com and The Advocate and named "One of the 12 Queer Comics that Everyone Should Know" by OUT.com.
He's recorded five live comedy albums, including the highly lauded "That B*@&! Better Be Funny". He's appeared on MTV, VH1, BET, TV One, Fusion and VICE.
His comedy has been called “riveting, refreshing, conversational, bold, intelligent, honest and good news.” As his takes on life, religion, sexuality, politics, family and society leave audiences doubled over in laughter.
