Event description

Description

Did you know that Pope Francis gathered with bishops throughout the world in October 2018 to meet on the topic of Young People, Faith, and Vocational Discernment?

Not only did Canadian bishops attend, so did Canadian young adults, to contribute to the conversations.

Duc in Altum Canada invites you to join us in "DUC"ing the Synod - exploring its message to young adults in the on-going process of discerment we call "Ducing"!

We invite Duc in Altum alumni, team members, their spouses, and any young adults interested in learning what the Church has to say to them.

We will hear from speakers:

Mgr. Paul-André Durocher, Archbishop of Gatineau-Hull
A walk through the highlight of Christus Vivit, with a focus on vocation, discernment and accompaniment!

Emilie Callan, Youth delegate at the Synod on Youth, Faith and Vocation Discernment
Emilie was a delegate to the Pre-Synod (March 2019) and the Synod on Youth, Faith and Vocational Discernment (October 2018). Come and hear her experience of a Church that seeks to listen to youth and to accompany their faith journey!

Lunch is included and we will accept a free will offering.
