About this event
“Let Your Light Shine Outdoor Festival for Depression & Suicide Awareness" is an outdoor festival that takes place in May for Mental Health Awareness Month.This joy-filled experience strives to strengthen the community awareness of Depression and Suicide in order to bridge the gap between different cultures and backgrounds to build unity, healing, and empowerment. The festivities are free to the general public and will feature special speakers. There will be a variety of performances from community participants in R&B, Poetry, Rap, Hip Hop, and Dance. Food will be available for free as well as games and activities for the kids.

Is there a cost to particpate?
No, the Let Your Light Shine event is free of charge for all ages. All donated food (Krogers & Chick-Fil-A), gift bags, and games are the first-serve basis. However, vendors on-site will be selling items.
What is the weather policy for the event?
The Let Your Light Shine event is sun and shine ONLY event. The rain date is July 11, 2020.
What area of the park will you be located?
Charles Allen DR NE & 10th Street NE.
Do I have to register to partipate?
Yes, all participants both children and adults must register to participate in the event.
