Event description

Description

An artist-driven experience in conjunction with the special exhibition Spectrum.

Please join us for an evening of food, music, and conversation as an extension of the exhibition SPECTRUM that is now on view throughout Thomas Cole’s historic home and studios through November 18. This event is organized by the Thomas Cole National Historic Site with the artist Linda Weintraub whose work is included in the exhibition and explores the intersection of colors and our senses. The gathering will honor the 11 exhibiting artists in SPECTRUM who experiment with color in ways that peak our curiosity and imagination. The gathering will take place in Thomas Cole’s 1839 Old Studio building at the Thomas Cole Site in Catskill, New York on Friday, October 19 from 6-8 pm.

Space is limited and reservations are required. Guests are invited to bring a colorful dish (main, side, fruit, dessert, etc.) to participate in creating a spectrum of yellow, orange, red, purple, blue, and green foods or to make a donation of $15.

For questions, email Eve Aaron at eaaron@thomascole.org / 518.943.7465
