Description

"The LORD is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation.” Psalms 118:14

"God’s song of deliverance surrounds us and lifts us out of the depths. He alone knows the melody of salvation, the harmony of mercy, the chords of grace."
- Glen A. Pettit

Let My People Go: Spirituals of Deliverance is a benefit concert featuring Negro spirituals that tell of the Lord as a Deliverer. Negro spirituals have the unique ability to evoke the cries of bondage, the joys of salvation, and the voice of God. This concert features arrangers and composers including Salone Clary, John Carter, Paul Robeson, Margaret Bonds, and many more. All proceeds from this concert will go to a scholarship fund for individuals seeking to attend the 2018 Bethel Campus Fellowship National Conference themed - Let My People Go. Each scholarship is dispersed to attendees in increments of $50 - with the purchase of a Ruby ticket or higher, you will be sponsoring at least one student for the national conference. Through your support, this campaign will touch so many young lives and make an impact on the next generation for Christ. As we partner together to bless hundreds of students remember your gift holds the capacity to change the trajectory of lives nationwide. Thank you for your support. May God bless you for making this all possible!

About the organizer:

My name is Blossom Ojukwu. I am a senior at the University of Maryland College Park pursuing a dual degree in vocal performance and music education. On February 17, 2017, I gave my life to Christ at the Bethel Campus Fellowship national conference in Ridgecrest, North Carolina. I was delivered from depression, suicidal thoughts, unforgiveness, and sexual immorality. In those three days, heaven collided with earth and I received freedom from the darkness that kept my soul captive. There are so many people who are suffering from the things I have been delivered from, and their freedom is guaranteed at this conference. The current cost to attend is $275 which includes food, shelter, and transportation. This time last year family and friends helped me raise the money to attend this conference. This year I've been led to use the gifts God has given me to invest into His kingdom by raising money for others to attend. I hope you will partner with me in this endeavor to proclaim good news to the poor, bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom to the captives, and release prisoners from darkness.

Tickets will also be sold at the door.
