Fisher College presents its 2013-2014 speaker series: “Lessons Learned: A Six Part Series.” Fisher College will host six nationally known speakers from different fields throughout the year at its Boston campus. The speaker events are free and open to the public.
About Anthony M. Amore:
With March being the anniversary of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum heist, we invite Mr. Amore in as he is the Director of Security for the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. He is responsible for the security and protection of the museum and coordinating with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to recover the 13 works of art stolen from the museum on March 18, 1990. Prior to joining the Gardner Museum, Mr. Amore spent 14 years with the federal government in the law enforcement and security field. Most recently, he served with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Administration as a key adviser to the Federal Security Director at Logan International Airport in Boston. Mr. Amore served as the Operations Officer and oversaw the training, equipping, and deployment of more than 1000 federal screeners. Anthony will also be teaching a CJ course in Homeland Security course at Fisher College this Spring.
