LESSONS FROM THE GREAT RECESSION 2007/2009, TEN YEARS ON - HOW TO RECESSION-PROOF YOUR CAREER AGAINST FUTURE ECONOMIC MELTDOWNS

The GREAT RECESSION 2007/2009 was the severest and longest since the GREAT DEPRESSION of the late 1920s and cost Trillions of Financial Loss to the Global Economy, Millions of Jobs as a result of millions more Collapsed Businesses. The recession was characterised by suicides, broken marriages, destroyed homes and above all shattered careers.

Mainstream Government Responses were mainly recapitalisation of failed Financial Institutions through Trillions of Quantitative Easing & Bailouts whilst Citizens were pounded with harshest of Austerity Measures. Ten years on, whilst there appears to be calm on the surface, there are soundings of emerging undercurrents that could erupt into an even fiercer Recession.

Labour Market Forecast Reports suggest that Automation by Articifical Intelligence will be displacing Human Talent drastically in the foreseeable future.

At the same time, the menace of Grduate Employment is spiralling beyond Employment Opportunities by Industry.

All combined, the indications are quite clear that the World of Employment has changed forever and will continue to transform radically against the Orthodox Traditions, Expectations and Incomes.

Recent Revelations about Widespread Sexual Abuse of Women in Employment alongside Gender Pay Gaps in even some of the World's Financially Wealthy Economies indicate the degree of Standards Sanitisation to restore Credibility into the World of Work.
