Lessons and gifts from COVID
What We've Learned From the Pandemic
Aloha,
I’m delighted to invite you to our first in-person meeting since the pandemic shut us down. We’re meeting on June 6, 2022, from 2 to 4 pm, at the Outrigger Canoe Club. Please note the change in venue from our usual meeting place. As usual, we’ll have food and tea/coffee. Members can attend for free; members may bring one guest for free. Non-members who are not guests of members will be charged $35.00 (please bring a credit card/check/cash).
This meeting represents a new beginning for Amazing Care as we have all had to shift from our usual way of doing things, in ways large and small. For this meeting, I’d like us to discuss the personal lessons/gifts we’ve derived from Covid. We’ve all been barraged with news about the terrible things Covid has brought to the world – severe illness, deaths, social isolation. But from personal experience, I know there have also been unexpected gifts that this difficult time has presented. For me, personally, it’s been a time to be quiet, to be more intentional about the time I spend with others, to start a vegetable garden and to learn how to quilt. I’ve invited a panel of speakers to share their experiences.
I do hope you can join us.
