Leslie Cooper and Harry Mayronne, JD Haenni with Special Guests
Event Information
About this event
Leslie Cooper grew up with musician parents and it was only a matter of time before she started to sing with the family. After stepping off the stage for almost two decades to raise three children, her son Doyle Cooper convinced her to return to the stage with him playing trumpet at her side. He felt it an honor to walk in the footsteps that his mother had walked while playing in her dad's band. Joined by her incredibly talented friend on piano, Harry Mayronne, and JD Haenni on bass, she takes the stage to bring the audiences fun music stepped in the traditional jazz taught to her by her dad and American song book taught to her by her mother. Throw in some fun surprises and funny stories and you to have a great night of music in store. Oh and did she mention that she is a show host of the Tuesday morning Traditional Jazz show on WWOZ.org
Buffa’s is committed to paying our musicians fairly while we ramp up to full capacity again. To do this we will be selling full tables instead of individual seats. This insures musicians fair pay and puts no pressure on our guests to have to give up their table due to upcoming reservations.
Please remember Buffa's sells TABLES, not individual seats. Please purchase only ONE ticket unless you have more people attending than will fit at your table.
