Description
“I dream of a community modeled after the small Christian communities in the early Church who were devoted to following Christ. All are welcome. Members will have diverse needs and gifts. It is my hope that people can find a spiritual home at the community at St. Mary’s University. Some will come to heal while others will come to share. The Spirit is recognized in all members. Everyone is invited to share his or her gifts and participate fully in community, discernment, and mission.” - Fr. Peter Doherty
We invite you to join us in a 3-part discernment and study on being a community of missionary disciples during this Lenten season. Beginning on Sunday, March 17th, we will gather at 4pm in the Sacred Space room (C111) at St. Mary’s University, for half an hour before Mass begins. Together we will reflect on the spiritual landscape of today’s society, discern our God-given gifts and talents, and prayerfully listen to how the Spirit is calling us to mission together. At the end of the study there will be opportunity to indicate an interest in becoming part of the Eucharistic community team at St. Mary’s University.
