On June 12th, 1948, President Truman signed the act that allowed women (other than nurses) to serve in the armed forces during peacetime. June 12th, 2023 also marks the first official celebration of Women Veterans Day in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Join the Lehigh Valley Women Veterans to Connect, Commemorate, and Celebrate as we recognize the service, contributions and sacrifices of women veterans. This event includes a special keynote address by Brigadier General Maureen Weigl, Deputy Adjunct General-Veteran Affairs, PA DMVA; networking, a panel discussion, presentations to inspire and uplift, and resources to help women veterans flourish and thrive. Including:

  • Free Breakfast, Lunch, and Parking
  • Swag bag with free goodies

1. This event is ONLY open to women veterans. Join us for the whole day or a few hours.
