Description

Please join the Government Affairs Industry Network (GAIN) and the George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM) for the second in a series of virtual and in-person events discussing the basics of the legislative process. This hour-long webinar will be a lecture-style presentation by former US Representative Martin Frost on the basics of fiscal cliffs and debt limits, including a current state-of-play on where things stand heading into December, followed by Q&A. Be sure to submit your questions to help steer the discussion!

Former Congressman Martin Frost, an adjunct professor at GSPM, served in House Democratic Leadership for eight years, spending four as Chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and four as Chair of the House Democratic Caucus. Frost was also ranking member of the House Rules Committee during his last term in Congress. He is co-author of The Partisan Divide: Crisis in Congress with former Rep. Tom Davis and Richard Cohen.
